CLICK HERE TO ORDER ° Processing involves downloading images from the digital camera onto our computer hard-drive, changing pixel resolution to fit the purpose for which the photos were taken, and then saving them to a CD-ROM. The fee for this service is $60 per hour ($15 minimum).
If you so order it, we can improve images that we think would benefit from resizing, cropping, color correction, retouching or other image editing. The cost for these services will be based on our hourly fee of $60 per hour ($15 minimum).
If the photos are to be reproduced at a photo processing center or printed at our studio, there is a reproduction charge for this "processing" service. Please inquire about the current cost of these services, as they vary widely according to print size, print type (glossy photo, matte photo, pearl photo, Kodak Royal, glossy board, pearl board, poster, canvas, etc.), printing process used (DuraBrite photo inkjet prints, Kodak prints or achival prints), and quantities produced.

* Typically, design projects do not incur much in the way of "direct job expenses", as digital graphic design involves the creation of non-tangible computer files that can be output by any printing company or service bureau selected by the client. I place the electronic files on a CD-ROM. The client brings the disk to the reproduction company. However, if the client asks me to arrange for the output or reproduction of the finished product, related costs will be invoiced along with the design fees. Project expenses are always pre-approved and prepaid by the client, and may include unique materials, unusual fonts or special software requested by the client; commissioned artwork or photography or other out-sourced services; prepress proofs, color keys, blue lines or other high-end proofs or comps; copying, printing, and reproduction costs; shipping, delivery, and postage expenses; and extraordinary costs associated with travel, lodging, or telecommunications.
** Sales tax is figured on the price of tangible items and printed materials only, not on graphic design or service fees. Shipping fees are also usually taxable.A retainer of 50% of the design or service fee is usually required to begin any assignment; the balance is due upon completion of the assignment (for design work, this means when the client signs approval and before the art files are released for reproduction).
There is no "consultation fee" for the planning of small print and web design projects, if the consultation is held at our studio or by telephone. Consultation fees will only apply if the publication or web site is large or complex or we are required to travel a long distance to meet with a client. "Complex" print projects might include large format brochures, booklets, catalogs, books, direct mail packages or other projects with many pages, a large quantity of photos or multiple components. Complex web design projects might include e-commerce sites, shopping carts, large web sites with many pages or a variety of special functions and technologies. Travel and consultation hours are billed at $60 per hour. Meetings at the client's location in Hernando County and East Pasco County may be free of charge, if the meeting can be scheduled at a time that we are in the area for other reasons. Meetings held in West Pasco, Hillsborough or other counties are billed at $60 per hour.
I retain the right to use for promotional purposes any image, composite, montage, logo or logo sample, graphic design, print design, photograph or web site that we create for a client. This means that we reserve the right to reproduce the aforementioned items in our advertising materials regardless of the form they may take, whether electronic or printed. We also reserve the right to place hyperlinks on our web site to the web sites that we create for our clients, so that potential clients can view our finished web designs.
